KATRINA CAMPINS INTERVIEW- LMH MAGAZINE
Question: After the Apprentice did you ever imagine you would star in another reality show?
Answer: After The Apprentice, I was so fired up with what I had l learned from Branding Genius Donald Trump that I concentrated on building my real estate company. At that point. multiple speaking engagements nationwide at prestigious organizations continued to fuel my fire, and I can honestly say that another reality show was certainly not part of my plan. I did have multiple television opportunities presented to me, but declined in order to focus on building my brand yet I do know that television will ultimately serve as my vehicle to motivate and inspire others. When approached to participate in Miami Social, I agreed to do so since my business was well established and I felt that I was well equipped to embark on a new venture and possibly make contributions of sorts in my own small way.
Question: What attracted you to Miami Social?
Answer: Born and raised in Miami, I felt that as a Realtor, I would be able to showcase our Magic City while working at the same time.
Question: Why should viewers tune in to watch Katrina Campins?
Answer: Curiosity – and to watch a more vulnerable side of me – People have an unquenchable curiosity to know everything about those in the public eye except what is worth knowing. It is rather amusing.
Question: What will viewers find most appealing about you?
Answer: I hope viewers will find appeal in my true self, a credentialed careerist in business. I am a woman who continuously prepares and plans, yet draws on confidence and competitive instincts developed as a result of my passion and my constant quest for excellence. In business we have to dress for success yet the public rarely gets past that superficial surface of a woman. I celebrate my femininity!
Question: How does Katrina work hard, and play hard?
Answer: I work extremely hard – those that know me well know that I work 24/7. I cannot say that I play hard, I travel intensively and when I do go out I network which makes my work pleasurable. Networking nationwide can prove to be grueling which is why I need to work out to stay healthy.
Question: What are some of the challenges of being one of South Beach’s Socialites?
Answer: I do not consider myself a South Beach Socialite. I am privileged to know those who truly are since they are really great people and generous philanthropists. I am just a native Miamian that loves her world.
Question: Beauty or brains which do you prefer when describing Katrina and explain why?
Answer: I would much prefer to be described as someone with brain power. Without the brain power you are dormant. Interesting as it is a woman is stronger when prepared with her weakness.
Question:Ranked in the top ½ percent of realtors nationwide and now Miami Social what next for Katrina?
Answer: Building a brand for a company is the same as the reputation you build for yourself. Earning reputation is done by being inflexible in your work and daring to do what is hard better than anyone else. Building a brand around social relevance in media is also a goal of mine. I love the challenge because at the end of the day I know that a successful brand is timeless.
Thank you Katrina for taking time out from your busy schedule to interview with Lmh Mag.com.
I love the show.
